If you keep the books or examine the accounts for more than one charity, you can set each one up on CharityControl and stay involved. Your adviser seat is free in every client workspace. Each charity is billed as its own workspace, so nothing is tangled together.
The adviser role is free on every plan. Set up the workspace, get people started, and keep helping. You are not counted as a charge on the charity's plan.
Your workspaces sit together, so you can move between them without a separate login for each. You only ever see the charities you have been given access to.
Every charity is its own workspace with its own private records and its own plan. Small charities can start free. Nobody shares a database, and nobody shares an invoice.
Start from the charity's public record. Trustees, filing dates and finances are pre-filled, so there is little to type.
Connect Xero, tidy the registers, and put real deadlines on the calendar. The trustees can see it's you doing the setup.
When they're ready, invite the board and hand over ownership. Approvals always stay with the trustees, not with you.
Advisers get full access to set the workspace up, but the formal decisions stay with the trustees. This matches the split of duties the Charity Commission expects: you can advise and prepare, the board decides.
Share your own link and the charities that come through it are recorded against you, from their first Check to a live workspace. We use that to recognise the advisers who introduce charities, so we can agree partner terms with you as the programme grows.
Want a code? Tell us about the charities you advise and we'll set one up.
See where a charity stands in ten minutes, then set up the workspace when it's the right moment.
