If your charity's latest income on the Charity Commission register is £100,000 or less, CharityControl is free. There's no time limit, and we never ask for a card. Larger charities pay one price for the whole charity, however many trustees and volunteers use it.
When you sign up we look your charity up on the Charity Commission register. If its latest income is £100,000 or less, your workspace is free. There's no form to fill in and nothing to apply for.
Some charities have no income figure on the register yet, usually because they're new or dormant. They get the free plan too.
Create your free workspaceWe use the latest income figure the Charity Commission publishes for your charity, which comes from your most recent annual return. Charities registered in Scotland or Northern Ireland aren't on that register: create a workspace and tell us, and we'll put you on the free plan if you're under £100,000.
One price for the charity, with unlimited trustees and volunteers. Prices exclude VAT. Pay yearly and two months are free.
Every workspace starts with 60 days free. That's long enough for your board to meet and see it before you decide, because most boards meet quarterly. You pick your plan in Settings when you're ready. We ask for card details at that point, and the first payment is taken then.
We only ask for card details when you choose a paid plan. Nothing is charged before that.
Setup is the product. Your public record fills most of the workspace in minutes.
Monthly plans stop whenever you like. Your records export cleanly, because they belong to your charity.
Prices exclude VAT. The amount including VAT is shown before you pay.
