Show funders you are well run
On the Assurance page, switch on "Share your assurance profile". Tick the sections to show, then choose who can see the page: anyone, or only people with a private link. Everything on it comes from your real records, and you can switch it off at any time.
Funders and partners often ask the same questions about your filings, your board and your policies. The assurance profile is a page that answers them for you, from your real records. It's not a badge or a certificate. It shows the evidence and lets the reader judge.
Share your profile
- Go to Governance, then Assurance.
- Find the Share your assurance profile panel and switch it On.
- Choose who can see the page: Anyone (public page) or Only people with a private link.
- Tick the sections you want to show: Filing status, Our board, Our policies, Safeguarding, Governance controls and Our impact. Untick anything you'd rather keep private.
- If you chose the public page, copy the address shown and you're done.
- If you chose a private link, select Create link and copy it straight away. For safety we show a private link only once.
- Send the link to your funder, or put the public address on your website.
You stay in control
The page shows only the sections you ticked, and only in summary. Policies appear as names and dates, never the documents themselves. Governance controls appear as counts per area, never individual findings. Nothing about supporters, cases or individual people is ever shown.
Treat a private link like a password: anyone who has it can see the page. If a link gets into the wrong hands, select Replace link to make a new one, or Revoke link to have none at all. Either way the old link stops working immediately. You can also switch the whole profile Off at any time.
What will a funder see?
A read-only page. Visitors can't change anything or see inside your workspace. If Meadowbank Community Trust ticks Filing status and Our board, a funder sees the next filing date and the current trustees, and nothing else.
