Complain about CharityControl
Email support@charitycontrol.co.uk or use the contact form at charitycontrol.co.uk/contact. A real person reads every complaint and replies, usually the same day. If your complaint is about personal data, you can also go to the Information Commissioner's Office.
How to complain
- Email support@charitycontrol.co.uk, or use the contact form at charitycontrol.co.uk/contact.
- Tell us what happened, when, and what you'd like us to do about it. Screenshots help if something looked wrong on screen.
- We'll reply by email, usually the same day. If we need longer to investigate, we'll say so and keep you updated.
If it's quicker, you can also report a problem inside the app: on the More page, press Suggest an improvement and choose Something's wrong.
What we do with your complaint
We keep and read every message. We're a small UK team, so your complaint reaches the people who build the product, not a call centre. If something is broken we fix it, and if we got something wrong we'll say so plainly.
If your complaint is about your data
Email dpo@charitycontrol.co.uk for anything about personal data, privacy or data protection.
You also have the legal right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at any time. You don't need our permission and you don't need to complain to us first, though we'd welcome the chance to put things right.
If you've found a security problem
Email security@charitycontrol.co.uk with enough detail for us to reproduce it. We welcome these reports and will work with you in good faith.
If you're not happy with our answer
Reply and say so. We'll look at your complaint again and give you a final written answer. For data matters, the ICO route above is always open to you. And if you decide to leave, your records export cleanly because they belong to your charity: see close your account.
