Emails from CharityControl
Every email we send comes from no-reply@charitycontrol.co.uk. If one hasn't arrived, check your junk folder and add that address to your safe senders. Sign-in links open a page with a button, which stops email security scanners from using up your link.
Which address do we send from?
Every email from CharityControl comes from no-reply@charitycontrol.co.uk. That covers sign-in links, trustee invitations, board packs and reminders. If a message claims to be from CharityControl but comes from a different address, don't click anything in it. Forward it to support@charitycontrol.co.uk so we can check.
What if an email doesn't arrive?
- Check your junk or spam folder. First emails from a new sender often land there.
- Add no-reply@charitycontrol.co.uk to your contacts or safe senders list, so future emails come straight through.
- Sign-in links only work for a limited time. If you found one late, request a fresh link from the sign-in page.
- If your charity uses a shared or work inbox, ask whoever manages it to allow the address.
Why does a sign-in link open an extra page?
When you select a sign-in link, you land on a page and press a button to finish signing in. That step is deliberate. Some email systems, including Outlook, open every link automatically to check it's safe. If the link signed you in on its own, that automatic check would use it up before you got the chance. The button means the link only works when a real person presses it.
Can you reply to our emails?
Nobody reads replies to no-reply@charitycontrol.co.uk. If you need us, email support@charitycontrol.co.uk and a real person will reply.
