Get help when you are stuck
Press the Ask AI button in the app for an answer grounded in your own records, search this help centre, or email support@charitycontrol.co.uk. A real person replies, usually the same day. Asking never changes your records, so you can't break anything.
Ask AI, right where you are
The quickest help is the round Ask AI button floating at the bottom of every page in the app. Press it and ask a question in plain English, for example "Summarise what needs my attention" or "What would the Charity Commission expect here?".
Answers use your charity's own records, your live accounting figures and the page you're on, so they're about your charity rather than charities in general. A few things worth knowing:
- It only sees what you're already allowed to see in your role.
- It gives guidance, never decisions, and it never changes your records.
- An answer can take up to a minute, so don't worry if it pauses.
- If the button is in your way, drag it somewhere better. It stays where you put it.

Email a real person
Email support@charitycontrol.co.uk, or use the contact form at charitycontrol.co.uk/contact. We're a small UK team and a real person replies by email, usually the same day.
Tell us what would make it better
On the More page in the app, press Suggest an improvement. You can send an idea, report something that's wrong, or just say thanks. We read every message.
Common questions
Can I break something by exploring? No. Looking at a page never changes it, and formal steps like approving minutes always ask you to confirm first.
