Sign in without a password
Open your workspace address, enter your email and click Email me a sign-in link. Open the email and tap Sign in, then tap the Sign in button on the page that opens. Links last 15 minutes. If yours has expired, just ask for a new one.
- Open your charity's workspace address, for example meadowbank-animal-rescue.charitycontrol.co.uk.
- Enter your email address. It must be the one your workspace admin added for you.
- Click Email me a sign-in link.
- Open your inbox and find the sign-in email. If it's not there within a minute or two, check your junk folder.
- Tap the Sign in button in the email.
- A page opens with one more Sign in button. Tap it and you're in.
Why is there an extra button?
Some email systems open every link in a message to check it for safety, before you've even seen it. Each sign-in link only works once, so if opening the link signed you in, those safety checks would use it up first. The button on the page makes sure it's really you finishing the sign-in. It's one extra tap, and it's deliberate.
Good to know
- Links expire after 15 minutes and work once. If yours has expired, ask for a new one. Nothing is lost.
- Once you're in, you stay signed in on that device for about 30 days, so you won't need a link every visit.
- There's no password to remember or have stolen.
- If the page says the link has expired or isn't valid, just request a fresh one from the sign-in page.
- If it says no account was found, your email may not have been added yet. Ask your workspace admin to check Users & roles.
