Help centre / Account, security & billing / Change or cancel your plan
Change or cancel your plan
A workspace admin changes plan from the Billing & plan card in Admin & settings. Cancelling happens in the same place, through Manage billing, invoices & plan. Your records are never deleted when you downgrade or cancel, so you can come back at any time.
Change your plan
You'll need to be a workspace admin. Nothing here deletes any of your records, whichever way you move.
- Open More, then Admin & settings.
- Find the Billing & plan card. Your current plan is shown at the top.
- If you're subscribing for the first time, pick Monthly or Annual, then select Subscribe to the plan you want. A secure Stripe page takes your card details.
- If you already have a subscription, select Change to the plan you want instead.
- The change applies straight away, and your next invoice adjusts for the difference.
What a downgrade means
Moving to a smaller plan locks the features above it, but everything you recorded in them is kept. If Meadowbank Community Trust drops from Assure to Control, its assurance dashboard locks, but nothing behind it is deleted. Upgrade again and it's all still there.
Cancel your plan
- Open the Billing & plan card, as above.
- Select Manage billing, invoices & plan. This opens your billing page, run by Stripe.
- Choose to cancel your subscription and confirm.
What happens after you cancel
When your paid time ends, the workspace pauses and admins see a screen asking them to choose a plan. Your records are safe and waiting, nothing is deleted, and you can start a plan again whenever you like. If you'd rather close the workspace completely, see close your account.
If a payment fails
We show a notice on the Billing & plan card, and you have 7 days to update your card before access pauses. Fix it through Manage billing, invoices & plan. Your records aren't touched at any point.
