Plans, prices and VAT invoices
Charities with an income of £100,000 or less use CharityControl free, with no time limit. Paid plans start at £39 a month, excluding VAT, one price for the whole charity. Your invoices are under Admin & settings, in the Billing & plan card.
Who gets CharityControl free?
If your charity's latest income on the Charity Commission register is £100,000 or less, CharityControl is free. There's no time limit and we never ask for a card. When you sign up, we check the register for you, so there's nothing to apply for. See what the free plan includes.
Charities registered in Scotland or Northern Ireland aren't on that register. Email support@charitycontrol.co.uk and we'll put you on the free plan if your income is under the limit.
What do the paid plans cost?
One price covers your whole charity, with unlimited trustees and volunteers. You never pay per person. All prices exclude VAT, and paying yearly gets you two months free.
- Control, £39 a month or £390 a year. Adds video meetings, a live finance dashboard from Xero, and more AI-drafted minutes.
- Assure, £99 a month or £990 a year. Adds the assurance dashboard, safeguarding registers and committees.
- Complete, £249 a month or £2,490 a year. Adds the Trustees' Annual Report, the fund register, projects and grants.
- Network, priced individually from £6,000 a year, for groups running several charities.
What is the founding charity offer?
While places last, the first 25 charities to take a paid plan get everything CharityControl does for £49 a month, fixed for two years. In return we ask for honest feedback and a case study. Look for it on your Billing & plan card.
How does the free trial work?
Charities over the free limit start with 60 days free. That's long enough for your board to meet and see it before you decide. We only ask for a card when you choose a plan, and we take the first payment then.
How does VAT work?
Prices exclude VAT. When you subscribe, the checkout shows the full amount including VAT before you pay, and your invoices show it too.
Where are your invoices?
A workspace admin can find them at any time:
- Open More, then Admin & settings.
- Find the Billing & plan card.
- Select Manage billing, invoices & plan. This opens your secure billing page, run by Stripe, where you can download invoices and update your card.
Stripe handles payments, so your card details never reach our servers. If you contact us about billing, quote the support reference at the bottom of the card. It looks like CC-000123.
